Howdy Chatbot fans, and welcome back. In this section, we’re gonna talk about how to wield the Mobile Monkey chat blaster like a Jedi Master.
Truthfully, I was gonna put this section a little bit later on in the course. I was talking to Larry on the phone yesterday, he’s like, no I see you got to put the chat blast stuff right out front when you start building bots, that’s what everyone loves. It’s one of the most exciting features. You’ll talk about the other stuff later. I said, okay, whatever you think is best you know your people better than I do for sure.
We’re gonna talk about chat blasters in this section. We’re gonna build chat blasts .we’re going to talk about best practice.
But first, what is a chat blaster anyway? Like I said chat, blasting is one of Mobile Monkeys most exciting features. It allows you to push a chat bot workflow to all your contacts, a segment of your contacts, any specific audiences that you create which allows you to reach a mass audience at scale really quickly. It’s really cool stuff.
when done right, chat blasts can have open rates of upwards of 90% and engagement rates people actually engaging and interacting with that bot flow upwards of 30%, which as you guys know who coming from email marketing is orders of magnitude more effective and more engaging than any other marketing channel, especially email.
Within Mobile Monkey you could schedule your chat blasts to go out later, or you could send out your chat blasts right away, and I’ll show you how to use those features.
Of course, you’ll want to segment your blasts for more personalization, and what do I mean by that? as you begin collecting a lot of contacts, and we’ve spoken about in previous lectures about custom attributes, even and even the attributes that come built-in with Facebook like gender and location and things like that, but you might be collecting custom attributes, like title, company name, company size company revenue, what products a person’s in the market for.
If you’re those of you who are familiar with remarketing lists if you’ve done AdWords, this is a very similar concept.
The more personalized your chat blasts can be based on where you’re sending them out, and there are many very good chat blasts that should be sent out to all your contacts.
I’m not saying that every single chat blast needs to be sent out to a specific audience, and even within your contacts list you’re going to have attributes that you could use with dynamic variables to personalize the message to each individual person, which is really really cool.
Something important to remember when you’re running your chat blasts is that you want to always offer your users a way to unsubscribe from these automatic messages, because as you begin chat blasting, you might send out once every couple days, and then you’re going to also be running drip campaigns that might be sent out in shorter intervals.
